Michel Dovaz was born in 1928.
In France he is also known as an famous wine expert.

When he was 20 years old, he bought his first Bugatti. It was a Bugatti T49.
This man had in his life 22 Bugatti's. The most of them are restaurated.

Michel Dovaz wasn't only a Bugattist, he also bought in his life: Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Cord, Lotus, Lincoln, Siata.
His collection was photographed in 1983 by the german photographer Herbert W Hesselmann. He and Halwart Schrader wrote two books about this collection. The books were called: "Schlafende schonheiten" also known as "Sleeping Beauties".

2 Dutch men and a German men had written a book about the famous Dovaz collection in 2008. It goes about the whole collection, and telse the truth and the fate about the sleeping Beauties. The book is called: "Het lot van de slapende schoonheden" the english version: "The fate of the sleeping beauties".
